Dirt Removal & Hauling

Spoil piles, leftover fill and job debris loaded, hauled off and the ground left clean.

Spoil piles, fill and job debris, gone

Leftover material is the part of a project nobody plans for. A trench produces more spoil than it can take back. A pool install leaves a mound. Another contractor finishes and the debris stays. Whatever the source, it takes up space, kills the grass under it and gets bigger every week you look at it.

We load it, haul it and leave the area cleaned up. That includes spoil piles, leftover fill and grade material, construction debris, and the broken material left from a driveway or slab removal. Hauling is part of the job on our own projects, not an afterthought or a line item that appears later.

Pond bank graded, seeded and strawed down to the waterline

The practical questions on a hauling job are access and weight. Where can a truck actually get to, what does it have to cross to get there, and will the ground carry it. A lawn that a loaded truck crosses in wet conditions will show that crossing for a long time, so route matters. We look at that on site and plan the trips before we mobilize, because the fewer times we cross your property the better it looks when we are done.

When the pile is gone we rake and finish grade the ground it was sitting on, so the area is ready to seed or pave rather than left as a bare, compacted scar. That last step is the one that gets skipped by people who price hauling by the load and leave.

The fewer times we cross your property, the better it looks when we are done. That is a plan, not luck.

– Questions

What people ask about dirt removal and hauling

Do you haul away material from another contractor's job?

Yes. Plenty of our hauling work is cleanup after somebody else finished and left the pile behind.

Will your trucks tear up my yard?

That is the main thing we plan around. We look at access, weight and route on site first, and we keep the number of crossings as low as the job allows.

What happens to the ground where the pile was?

We rake and finish grade it so it is ready to seed or pave. Leaving a bare compacted scar is not a finished job.

Do you haul dirt in as well as out?

Come talk to us about what the project needs. Fill and grade material for our own excavation and backfill work is routine.

Is hauling included when you do the excavation?

On our own projects, yes. Removing what we dig and leaving the site clean is part of how we price the work.
