– Straight answers

Questions we
hear a lot.

If yours is not here, call or text and ask it. That is what the phone is for.

– Estimates and getting started

Estimates and getting started

Do you really give free estimates?

Yes, on every job, with no strings attached. Casey comes out, walks the project with you, and the estimate is written up and emailed so you can see the scope in writing. You are free to sit on it, compare it, or move forward whenever you are ready.

Can I text you instead of calling?

Absolutely. Text (317) 503-6782 with a short description of your project. Photos help a lot if you have them. Plenty of our customers prefer texting because they can send it during a workday and we can answer without playing phone tag.

What happens after I approve the estimate?

A deposit reserves your spot on the schedule and we tell you when to expect us. That is the whole commitment step.

How do I get started?

Call or text (317) 503-6782 and tell us what is going on in your own words. We will set a time to walk the project with you and get you a free estimate.

– The work itself

The work itself

What is your primary service?

Drainage and water management. It is our specialty and what we are called for most. Everything else on our list grew out of solving water problems properly.

Do you take on small residential jobs?

Yes. Our work ranges from burying a few downspout lines to full underground utility projects. Small jobs are how a lot of our relationships start and we treat them with the same care as the big ones.

Do you do commercial and new construction work?

Both, alongside residential. Site clearing, building pad prep, storm sewer, force mains and utility trenching are regular work for us.

Do you pull permits?

Where the work requires them, yes, and we coordinate the inspections. That is standard on underground utility work.

Who actually does the work on my property?

Casey. He gives the estimate and he runs the job, so the person you talked to is the person on your property.

What happens to the concrete and debris you haul away?

We load it and haul it off as part of the job, so you are never left with a pile. Broken concrete is often crushed and reused as base material rather than simply dumped.

– Water problems

Water problems

How do I know if my yard has a drainage problem?

The common signs are water standing after rain, soggy spots that never firm up, dampness or staining along the foundation, and soil or mulch washing out in the same place every storm. If water is sitting where it should not, or moving toward the house, that is worth a phone call before it becomes a foundation issue.

Why does drainage matter for a foundation?

Water that sits against a foundation soaks into the soil around it, and saturated soil pushes on foundation walls and settles unevenly under footings. Over time that shows up as damp basements, cracked walls and doors that stop closing right. Moving water away from a foundation is some of the cheapest insurance a homeowner can buy.

My basement is wet. Do I need waterproofing or drainage?

Frequently the answer is drainage, because a lot of basement water is yard water that made it indoors. Sometimes it is exterior waterproofing at the wall, and sometimes it is a sump discharge that is handing water straight back to the foundation. Which one you need depends on where the water is coming from, which is why we look before we quote.

Do you offer emergency service?

Yes. If water is actively coming in, call or text and tell us what is happening.

– Area and scheduling

Area and scheduling

What areas do you serve?

Hendricks, Boone, Marion and Johnson County, Indiana, and the surrounding communities. We are based in Brownsburg.

Will you travel outside those counties?

Ask. The worst we will say is no, and we will say it politely.

What do you not do?

Asphalt paving and sealcoating, plumbing inside a building, electrical, HVAC, interior remodeling, structural foundation repair beyond excavation and drainage support, tree removal and forestry clearing, landscaping maintenance and design, irrigation systems, and well drilling.
